Travel season
The best time to travel on the ViaCook is June to October.
Routes
The route is often signposted according to Swiss signposting laws. Please make sure you follow the yellow signs with the help of the place names on them. The walking is easy. However, if you are uneasy about the altitude gain or journey times, you may always choose to go part of the way by public transport.
Walking time
Walking times are for your information only. They do not take into account the various rest stops for lunch or cultural visits.
Equipment
For all hiking tours good hiking boots are needed as well as weatherproof clothing.
