ViaJacobi - The cult and culture of St James

The pilgrimage to the tomb of St James in Santiago de Compostela (in northern Spain) is one of the most important spiritual traditions in Europe. The ViaJacobi is part of the European Way of St James. It goes along the foot of the Alps from Lake Constance to Geneva – from one end of Switzerland to the other. Chapels, churches and inns are strung out along the ViaJacobi like the beads of a necklace. The historical buildings and the ever-changing landscape make for an unforgettable experience.
